  1. Hua Hin’s  newest attraction is as much for the tourists as it is for the locals. Black Mountain Water Park is the perfect destination to chill out and cool down while having a blast in the hot, hot sun! Complete with nine different exciting waterslides, a large  Wave Pool, an expansive Kid’s Area, a winding and relaxing Lazy River, a large hot tub, several pools scattered about, and as if that weren’t enough to keep you occupied, a massive Wake Board area. There‘s so much to do and so much fun to be had, you ‘re sure to go back again and again.

Black Mountain Water Park is open every day from 10am – 5pm. The grounds are  maintained very well and it is quite clear that safety is of the upmost importance. Almost everywhere you turn there’s another water feather to entice you to dip your toes or dunk your head. In addition, there is always a member of the staff’s Life Guard department within sight. The equipment is checked periodically during the day for anything that might be amiss; the park also provides crash-helmets for those guests who are concerned about head-bumps on the slides.

The slides available are sure to please younger guests as well as  their parents. From the easy one-story drops to the pitch-black, three-story corkscrew; there’s something for everyone! Even though it’s just a single shot, straight into the water, one of the most enjoyable slides  is called the Wide Wave. This is ridden down on an inner tube. While this isn’t anything out of the ordinary, it can be ridden down by up to five guests at a time. It’s a great way to make a big splash and have a wonderful time with family and friends.

If you are ready to take it easy, grab a tube and drop into the lazy river. The easy going current will take you around most of the park. This also makes it easier and more enjoyable when mom goes to find where the little ones have snuck off to. Off to one side of the Water Park, you ‘ll find the kids area. The kids have is also a large, inflatable bouncy room for the kids to jump around in.

Between the kids’ area and the waterslides is the large and every fun Wave Pool. The water begins with a zero – depth, beach –like entrance and gets deeper the farther you go in. You can bring floats and inner tubes, or just jump around in the waves. This is a great place for the whole family as the depth of water can be chosen by how deep you go in.

In the park you ‘ll also find a restaurant to fill those hungry bellies. Unlike many other places where there are limited choices for food, Black Mountain Water Park cooks up some really tasty dishes. They have both Western and Thai menus to choose from as well as yummy ice cream. Located conveniently throughout the park there are also several restroom facilities. There are also full locker room available, complete with private showers and lockers.
Located next door to the Black Mountain Water Park is the humongous Wake Board area. Riders are pulled by a wire –motor system around  the large lagoon. Several riders can be on the water at once.  There are several jumps and other objects for more advanced riders to use and show –off their stuff. They have several different price structures; from one hour, to day, up to a year. To ride the Wake Board for one hour is just 250 Baht or you can ride the whole day for only 1,000 Baht.
