  1. Seeing elephants and human beings having fun and laughter together, could be once in a lifetime experience. The 12th King's Cup Elephant Polo, running for five days, effective August 28 – September 1, 2013, will be played at the Army's Suriyothai Army camp, just a south of Hua Hin.
    Altogether, 16 teams have confirmed participation till to date and time will prove, whether current holders, King Power if Thailand, could retain the trophy, especially when formidable All Black from New Zealand, are also competing for the first time. Tiffany Thailand, would be an added attraction, also for the first time.


    The five-day extravaganza in Hua Hin, has something for everyone; like spectacular opening parade, celebrity matches, children's day with baby elephant camp, fun fair and ladies fashion day. A moulin Rouge themed Auction Gala Dinner, will top fund raising efforts, with all proceeds being donated, for the betterment of Thai elephants.

    With free admission for everyone, visitors will be able to rub shoulders with Asian and European Royalties, international sporting star and local celebrations. The event was first introduced in 2001, by Anantara Hotels and Spa group of Minor Holdings and has become one of the biggest charitable events in the country, which has raised almost US $ 600,000 to better the lives of Thai elephants, mahouts and their families, and an elephant ambulance for the Thai Elephant Conservation Centre (TECE).

    Almost 50 street elephants would be taken off the streets, during this tournament, providing them with their natural habitat, the best possible food, as well as thorough veterinary check-up.
